About Us
In 2016 we opened the Tábor escape game centre U Červeného koně (At the Red Horse) in the historic underground of the Tábor town hall. We build, develop and run the centre drawing on our experience in the community of outdoor puzzle-hunt games played on bikes, cross-country skis, in cars or on foot, which we have been actively playing and organising since 2007. Our vision is to bring unconventional experiences to the wider public in our home region. The Red Horse is our free-time hobby and we offer it to adults and children alike.

About the Tábor escape centre:
Years ago, when we acquired a mysterious part of the historic underground of Tábor’s old town in one of its oldest houses, we immediately set about rebuilding the premises so that the former restaurant could make way for our first escape game. We also began exploring the extensive underground passages from the Hussite era, which connect to the accessible spaces and had never been used before.
And it was right there, during our exploration, that we came across a true gem. We discovered a secret underground passage and in it, in an ancient chest, a period Hussite chronicle. We began studying this unique find and uncovered previously unknown facts from the turbulent history of the Hussite era. We immersed ourselves in incredible stories tied directly to the site of our escape centre. We learned that the famous Hussite commander Jan Žižka had his military classroom here. In this very place he taught his warriors the art of war — and it was here that, by an unlucky accident, he lost one of his eyes. Another famous commander, Prokop the Bald, was active here too; he hid his mighty grail here, whose magical power let him defeat enemy armies without a fight. Master Jan Hus himself had his secret underground chapel here. He would come here in the days of his exile at the nearby Kozí hrádek castle for secret meetings with his followers, and in this ancient chapel he hid his legacy for future generations.
This unique historical discovery made one thing certain: the escape games here simply had to be dedicated to the greats of the Hussite era and their stories, which deserve to reach the wider public. In our escape games you can set out on a quest for Jan Žižka’s lost eye, travel by time machine into the distant past to discover Prokop the Bald’s mighty Hussite grail, or visit Master Jan Hus’s ancient chapel and try to find his legacy.
Whichever story you choose to follow, we wish you a sharp mind and skilful hands — may you overcome every obstacle on your way and take home unforgettable memories!
